Come to Asheville (please don’t actually were so fucking full)

What Charlotte is this? The one in North Carolina?

If so, I’ve been there, and it is kinda boring lol.

Joking, mostly. My cousin lives there, and it isn’t the worst city to visit, nor particularly boring. Wouldn’t live there unless I had no choice, but that’s any city at all. Well, anything big enough to be worthy of the term city rather than town, I guess.

But, yeah, the music scene is kinda flat, the art scene is hard to find, local theater is similarly obscured to an outsider (or is that creative loafing magazine thing still around?). Used to have some decent drag shows, but I heard the good clubs closed or moved.

Food, however was phenomenal last time I was down there! We went for a two week visit, and holy crap, pretty much any cuisine you could ask for, and good. That’s been almost two years, but I doubt it’s changed much. Maybe two years? Right after covid restrictions started easing up enough to check in on family in the area.

Anyway, it’s probably more bumping if you’re a local and know where to go already.

And, yeah, I figure you were talking about the C/ here being slow, but insomnia is kicking my ass, and I’m bored lol.
