If he drops out, it needs to be now. Whomever runs needs time to rally people. And that person is going to have to be as smooth as Obama and as aggressive as Bernie.

    Void help us.

We’re definitely fucked. The media has done a bang up job of protecting Trump while pushing fascist talking points to make Biden look bad. Dems don’t have a candidate that would rally the base. Maybe Newsom but I doubt it. Especially this late.

Idk, was talking to some people about this today. If they ran someone else all of trump’s attack strategies get thrown out.

Biden’s already been losing the base. I think just changing away from his does wonders for base motivation. No messy questions around Gaza, no age hanging over us, a new voice able to say “we’ll do something different” for things that aren’t going well.

Plus then we can hammer Trump for being old and incoherent. He wasn’t good at the debate (or all his nonsense stream of consciousness speeches), but Biden’s jumbled speeches (before this) didn’t give us a good footing to be much harsher toward it. “Democrats have chosen a new nominee who will actually be alive in 10 years, Republicans are stuck with an elderly man who slurs his words, forgets things, and talks nonsense about getting eaten by sharks”.

I ain’t paying any attention to speculation. He hasn’t dropped out until he’s actually dropped out.

Source? Ah yes, the “unknown ally.”

When he was first elected I was certain that the Democrats would start that very day in grooming the next person to take over in 4 years. But it never happened. And now they’re flailing. Unbelievable. Remember when AOC and some other young congresspeople were elected and pushed for a change in leadership, and were beaten down and told to wait their turn? Great move guys.
