He blamed the difficulties on a distributed denial-of-service attack

AKA musk shut down too many services and couldn’t handle the load from regular viewers.

Because he doesn’t understand technology anywhere close to what he claims

But it wasn’t a DDoS, Twitter kept on chugging along, it’s just the stream that was broken.

Who could have possibly predicted that firing all of your senior experienced technical engineers could lead to technical problems?!

“My interview with Elon was the biggest interview ever. Many people were watching, so many people that X, it was to be called twitter, but not anymore, its now called X, couldn’t even handle all the viewers.
A lot of people still call it Twitter nowadays, have you ever noticed? But they should call it X, as it is now called X, but they still call it twitter which is not accurate.
My good friend Elton Music, who is the owner of X, which was called twitter in the past, and he has tremendous infrastructure. Such great infrastructure over there, genius mind my friend Ellen Must has, but it still couldn’t handle all the viewers wanting to watch Eileen interview me.”

It’s a streaming platform now? Are people going to start streaming there instead of twitch?

Has anyone been able to find the actual audio? I suspect given the participants it’s probably a cringe-fest but it’s disturbing to me that the news is jumping all over it to the point where it’s difficult to actually find the source and listen and do you own analysis.

This seems to be an ongoing problem not just for this story; I’m constantly having to dig to actually find the thing that every news channels talking heads is doing their own half-baked analysis on.
