    The guardian is three tabloids in a trenchcoat.

    They don’t generally outright lie, but unbiased journalism it is not.

    To be clear, the interview was a shitshow, I’m just saying you’ll need to manage your expectations about journalistic quality when reading the guardian.

      they do clearly separate their reporting and commentary though, they always indicate on page in print and online that it is a comment not a report (literally the first word on this page is “Opinion”)

        They do yes, this is clearly marked as an opinion piece.

        What i was trying to convey is to not expect stellar journalism, opinion or otherwise, from a media source that has built it’s readership on sensationalism and tabloid shenanigans.

        That is of course, just my personal opinion.

      Thanks for your Input! Your Analogy makes perfect sense to me and gave me a good chuckle^^

      I‘m not too familiar with the guardian but I do remember reading some Articles of great journalistic Quality.

      I learned that it is marked as an „Opinion Piece“ but how can you value the opinion of a Journalist you do not know?
