A happy little tree!

Have you thought about adding leaves with ink? There should be a number of linear ink tutorials that might help with definition.

I am learning myself, and trying to think about composition.

Nice colors.

Flat spaces are hard as you don’t want to paint the same space more than once, I use the “moving around a blob of paint” on a slightly inclined paper technique. It’s slow but gives wonderful results.
