So far its pretty cool. Fun to ride dinosaurs.
Does the zone seem to move faster or is it just me?
I like it, the thermal dmr feels like it shoots pebbles though…
My aim with it is terrible. Idk whether the shots are slow or I’m just bad.
The accuracy of the Thermal DMR is garbage. I like to plink away at people from afar, but I can’t hit anyone with the tDMR.
At least the good ol’ red eye still shoots straight.
Feels like I never find any red dots anymore.
Haven’t been able to play much, yet. Definitely excited for something new though!
Now that I’ve had some time to play. Drum shotgun seems busted! I prefer when their is more variability to the guns that can be used.
I actually like the Cybertron Cannon. It is fun while not being nearly as annoying as some past items like Goku’s kamehameha. I think that it’s only two shots with a large cooldown makes it reasonable.
I’ll also say, since I mostly play zero builds, the huge canyons in the middle of the map can make running from the storm challenging. Hopefully when I learn the map better, I can actually find the entrance and exit points.
Overall I think this season is decent. Not my favorite, but certainly not awful. I’m definitely excited about it’s potential once I can actually figure out all the items and rotations.
Just discovered you can shoot blue flowers to get slurp from em. Cool!
I like the claustrophobia of the jungle. It’s fun to be close to an enemy but unable to see them.
I don’t like the size of the faux-Aztec ruins. It’s too easy to get caught on the ground. In no-build, that is.
I wish there was still some mobility items. The kinetic blade, ODM gear, or even hammers would be nice.
And I hate wasps.
I have died to moving zones in endgame in a way I never have before so something is different
I like the new jungle section they opened wedged between the citadel and the snow. Especially with the aquatic warrior augment enabled.
