    I want to point out that there may not be that many “tankies” on Lemmy. And Biden isnt running right ? So its not “genocide Joe” … it is now in Kamala’s court.

    Problem: Kamala is tough on crime, Kamala is tough on bordercontrol ( she famously told people “DO NOT COME TO THE UNITED STATES”. She is strong in every talking point Conservatives and Right-wing media are throwing at establishment democrats.

    So “tankies” are the far-left commies, so they agree on everything to the other extreme with right-wing nuts.

    Kamala is poison to both extreme groups. Hence crickets you get silence.

      Hey I’m pretty extreme and anti-genocide, but I think we all hope she just wins so we can start giving her a hard time about Israel and her conservative stances, without worrying about the much worse option getting elected.

      But I’m not even American. So the domestic aspect doesn’t impact me and much, beyond of course wanting the best for you guys

        Yeah if I have to choose between two evils I’m going to always take the one that is lesser and open to criticism over the one who revels in their evil

        Not an American either. But if US Elections blowup, it will impact jobs and markets worldwide. Things can go south pretty fast and not everyone has safety nets or nest eggs to save themselves.
