All the food will be vegan. All the loos will be compostable. If they’re really observant, people might spot (electric) vans containing large batteries occasionally recharging other large batteries around the site, instead of having diesel generators to power the stage and stalls.
Perhaps the biggest difference will not be in the show but outside. There’s no car park.
Instead, the 34,000 attendees are strongly encouraged to walk, cycle or get public transport - including on one of five special trains laid on to take people back across the south-west at the end of the bank holiday Sunday night.

Oh right the band… well that headline took a turn for the better.
I thought exactly the same thing. I love Massive Attack but maybe they need a new name like Moderate Perturbation or something.
Starting a headline with “Massive Attack” in 2024 feels mildly irresponsible.
something like “massive attack set to release new album” would be fine IMO. “Massive attack in Bristol:” is downright irresponsible.
It took rereading it 3 times to parse for me.

That’s awesome!! I’m sure they may run into challenges with the infrastructure and logistics stuff, but if we don’t start figuring out the challenges this can’t become common
