If I show up on time, will the doctor be ready at that time? That’s the progress I want to see in this world.

I’d rather wait because they actually take their time to talk to their patients than them kicking everyone (including me) out of the door as soon as the time is over.

The dr is allowed to make you wait as long as he needs to, but if you’re ten minutes late for the appointment they reserve the right to cancel it and change you.

I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve been in this scenario:

        10:01
“Hi, I have an appointment at 10:30.”

        “It’s not 10:30 yet.”

        “That’s okay, I’ll wait.”

        10:07
“Sir? They can see you now.”

Whomever I’m meeting, especially their secretaries, are usually put off that I show up early. But once they realize I’m not leaving, they do the math in their heads and realize they should just take me early so I’ll leave early. Win-win for everyone.

Seems I must be receiving comments from a parallel reality where doctors are capable of being on time for anything. Must be nice.
