Misguided on multiple levels, imho, but not quite the hate or callousness you might expect behind it.

The level of misguidedness I particularly care about is the one where he advocates for continuing to extract petroleum locally instead of for bicycles and zoning reform.
My first thought was “I wouldn’t expect the average lesbian to be super happy about being a prop for fracking marketing.”
Alberta (where the oil sands are located) is known as “Texas North” up here. There’s more than a few reasons why you don’t want to be there if you’re queer. Or trans. Or any skin color other white. Or a woman. Or…
