​Microsoft has released a new Workspaces PowerToy that helps launch sets of applications using custom desktop layouts and configurations with a mouse click.

    I already use PowerToys for work. This one I can’t wait to try. My machine is required to reboot once a week. All the windows are slightly off, and I have to use FancyZones to get them each back where I want them every time.

    Sadly it is not able to detect every window and it can’t capture multiple desktops. Maybe it becomes actually usable in a few versions …

      It’s crazy how little desktop environments (besides the open source ones) have evolved over the last decades. I believe the next version of OS X will finally add tiling.
