    The article you link to does not show any effect of activated charcoal on ovulation in women who use oral contraceptives. Not saying it’s a good idea to eat charcoal, but the study didn’t find an effect.

      Why would it have an effect on ovulation? People are saying that the charcoal prevents the body from absorbing the pill. It’s also why it’s used in certain cases of poisoning.

      Activate charcoal is very common medicine to fight gas and/or mild intestinal discomfort. Very effective when my farts become too noxious and I need to debloat…
