you know for people who call themselves communist, they have never actually done anything for communism. i mean, shit, why not book a vacation to Vietnam or Cuba? I know that most hexbear users are actually rich kids with rich parents, so why not give them some of your western dollar? they’re poor and they need it, you know, for communism!

From what I understand, they’re saying that the person they are talking about was just a communist because of the aesthetics and weren’t a “real” communist. So they wouldn’t consider themselves a hypocrite because they actually are a “real” communist.
