Diablo IV is infamous for its microtransactions, but there was a point when Blizzard’s boss wanted to get away from it.

It’s easy to say you wanted xyz, bbuuttt the evil Microsoft arrived and it’s all its fault now.
Look, those microtransactions were there from the beginning, before Microsoft bought Blizzard. Nothing changed since, not before, not after the acquisition.
Cut the crap already.

I think no one of those who game themselves wanted them.
I have played Diablo I - III. The sound of all the micro transactions in IV, I will probably never play it.
