Three months later, a New Mexico judge ordered Griffin to leave public office immediately. It was the first time an elected official had been removed for rebellion against the United States since the Civil War. Griffin was also “barred for life” from holding any public office in the future under the Constitution’s “insurrection clause” in the Fourteenth Amendment.

So they are aware this exists.

The government is worried about the insane backlash that would happen.

They expect and are probably right in that Jan 6 was just a small taste of what would happen if they tried it.

Remember that almost half of the country still supports R over D, and in law enforcement it is far higher.

This is why movements like the alt-right, who are prone to irrational decisions and violence need to be cut down from the start.

This can only really be solved by increased education, but due to the distrust and missmanagement of the US education system, it is hard to solve this.

As of right now I believe that the leaders are waiting for Trump to fade away.

If only we had a hyper militarized police force - oh, right, tons of them (yes yes I know not all) prefer the fascists what a shocker.

Less than half. Roughly 1/3 voted for the orange plump ball in the last election. There will be less now, as many factions are seeing through his lies finally, even evangelicals.

The evil isn’t as big as it looks, it’s just loud.

Colorado ruled that he was ineligible due to having participated in the insurrection, and then the USSC ruled that nothing prevents him from running, only holding office, so they had to keep him on the ballot.

They didn’t actually say he can hold office, but they basically punted it to congress to declare that he can’t, and would need to perform a vote to allow him to hold office.

But Congress won’t do their duty, and the current house would majority vote to allow him to run because it’s fully of corrupt.

Couy Boy Griffin is such a hoser. “Barred for Life”, how’s that feel? And yes, this should be applied ALL the J6ers, incl. the “mastermind” #45.
