Former independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is now allied with Republican nominee Donald Trump and has sought to take his name off the ballot in some states.

    Voting is already underway in both states, so it never seemed likely the Supreme Court would grant Kennedy’s requests.

    At some point the ballots are locked in and printed.
