Also not happy that there is no Monster Hunter language setting that I could see, which every MH game has included except this one. I hate that Capcom insisted on making my player character speak, so I thought at least I can put it to MH language and maybe it wont be so cringey, but nah. Capcom really said “youre going to play how WE want you to play.” Capcom really be copying Nintendo.
MH language is only in the $110 version. It’s been removed from the base game and added as DLC just like G-Rank /s
Just put it in Japanese, its close enough to MH language if you don’t understand it anyway.
I would, except I can understand Japanese too. I guess I’ll just have to find the dub that makes me cringe the least. Still would prefer if I could just toggle an option to make my character not speak. Same with Palicoes.
Yea, that makes sense. I always preferred the MH language and I’m kinda disappointed they didn’t bring it back this time, the Japanese version just isn’t the same…
I put mine in Italian. I in no way speak or understand Italian.
I saw my friend playing the beta and asked how it was going and he showed me a screenshot of it still compiling shaders.

MH betas are usually pretty much demos, there’s little change compared to the release.

Lol. I actually had one. Bought it used the year after the series consoles dropped. Fuckin’ thing was rock solid. Seriously. It still works. Friend of mine uses it as a media center for his parents now. lol.
Started on a DOS1 PC which I upgraded over time first to DOS3 then finally Windows95. Owned a couple consoles. Then a WIndows PC around the Win8 era. Then more consoles. Now on a Ryzen laptop.
I know both sides.
Just like mhw world on launch, history repeats itself (took ages for mhw it run reasonably well on my pc)

I have 7800x3D + RTX3080 and frequently run games at native 4k 60fps with mostly medium to high settings, or 1080p 120fps-240fps ultra, I can’t get this game to run at 60fps consistently at 1080p even when I put it on the lowest setting and put DLSS to preformance mode. If this system is struggling even with DLSS at 1080p to hold 60fps, I can not imagine how bad it is for the vast majority of machines out there. What really bothers me is it seems 100% intentional as the steam hardwear requirements tell you you need frame generation to even expect 60fps.
Just wait 6 months and they’ll fix it. Hopefully lol
Crazy! I’m on a 9900k and a 3070ti and I’m getting 55-75FPS on 1440p with setting on High.
Sounds like a cpu issue (not yours, theirs) if it can’t even run 69 fos while upscaling to 1080p. Big yikes. MH usually ran pretty well on PC.
I know the cloud option ruined perf in MHW, could see if lowering thst helps at all or playing on medium and see if cpu perf goes up, then trying settings a few at a time to full and see which breaks.
Even on ps5 performance mode is like 40fps
id classify the ps5 specs as a moldy potato
The PS5 is also running on midrange hardware from 2019. 40 FPS is to be expected when playing a brand new game on 5-year-old parts.
