    I’m not to familiar with radio apps. Why do people like them over more popular streaming services like Spotify or pandora? The video mentions she likes a more human touch, but I’m not certain about the details.

    The video was extremely informative about the app though!

      There’s a lot of music out there. Not all of it is available on Spotify.

      And not all of us want Spotify applying algorithms to our listening choices. I like to be surprised at unexpected gems from artists I’ve never previously encountered.

      I search www.live65.com for music in the genres I like. Blues, folk, world, deep breath adult contemporary (no, not the “decades” top 40s lists, more modern stuff)

      Because Spotify is absolutely shit at suggesting new things.

      Even if I pick a particular theme there are many artists it won’t include until I manually select them and then magically they appear in the themed list.

      The human touch just means being able to suggest similar things based upon experience that is outside your bubble. Spotify makes a personalised experience based upon your bubble, so it can never truely pop.
