All people are not created equal but inequal on nearly every conceivable metric ~and this should have no bearing on one’s treatment of others. We should be empowering to greatness the worthy, no matter their race and gender, with diversity a wonder we are thankful for. Were I to grasp the intended meaning of ‘equal’, I would state it as the right to power over one’s own destiny and ability to enact change on the scales required. And my observation of this moral intent is that it has failed. It is the boardmember of the multinational company, the lobbying group, and those willing to do anything for the shareholders who disproportionately hold power in this realm of intended equality.

This is going to get removed but we all feel your message. They’ve reinvented the laws of the jungle by transmuting it into numbers. It then becomes their weapon against the classes, siding with those who would ruin the public to enrich themselves. Good luck out there. Keep your eyes open.

“equal before law” was the aspiration, not “created equal”

not to forget that people are not “created”
