Picture this: you’re working in a large open-plan office and you need to send a message to Steve at the other end of the room. You pull out your messenger handgun, dictate your message (because you paid for the voice recognition feature) and let it engrave your words on a bullet. Then you simply fire it at the target mounted above Steve’s cube!

Fast, attention-getting and simple. It’s the perfect system.

Huh. Good idea. I may trial that tomorrow with a nerf gun and a sticky note.

ETA - we currently use a cat laser pointer.

we currently use a cat laser pointer

How does this work? Attach the message to the cat and point the laser at the intended recipient?

We have 17 people facing all different directions in one office. To get someone’s attention we aim the laser at their computer annoyingly until they turn around.

Yeah. I mentioned your idea to them and now they’re all mad that we don’t have an office messenger cat.

Well shoot! That would be quite a sight! It would give some ammunition to our shared vision and add some range to our communications. I think I could really openly carry our project plans along at a steady clip.
