Do not misconstrue this as implying the working class opposes social leftism, because it doesn’t. It only seems that way because the only party offering economic hope – false hope, but hope nevertheless – is doing it by scapegoating (brown) immigrants.

    I really don’t get why they went so hard on the everything is fine with the economy story. If you looked even a little deeper than the first number, it was pretty obvious that any wage growth was dominated by gains for high earners and those switching jobs.

      More like bro does know that none of that stuff meaningfully moved the needle for the working class. If it had, there wouldn’t have been a winning margin of voters rejecting Harris for Trump and citing the economy as the reason!
