Kentucky Republican Sen. Mitch McConnell announced Thursday he’ll become chairman of the Defense Appropriations Subcommittee and the Rules Committee when the new Congress convenes in January.

    Since some people don’t seem to remember, his replacement is Sen John Thune. He was elected a week or two ago. I have no idea why this article is mentioning at all that he is stepping down as US senate GOP leader because we’ve known that for months.

    He’s going to be like a Palpatine and come back in ten years in some miraculous unexpected way … probably wearing a cloak and be horribly disfigured

      He looks pretty bad already. Worse, and he’s going to need to censor his face in public to maintain decency laws.
