Not at all. This agreement withdraws IDF forces from southern Lebanon. It’s a coordinated withdrawal within 60 days, as IDF forces move out Lebanese armed forces move in. The whole point is to enforce UNSCR 1701 because UNIFIL was unable to. Here’s the full text of the agreement.

60 days to entrench and tighten their control over the area before they violate the ceasefire. Which I’m sure they plan to do.

Couldn’t find the bit that authorizes curfews…

But it would be fucking golden if Lebanon gives Israel a bedtime too just to point out how insane it is that Bibi would try this.

I was really just responding to your characterization of the ceasefire agreement, but maybe I misunderstood what you meant.

As for the curfew the only real authority Israel has to issue a curfew is that they have a military presence in the area. There’s no real legal basis and the civilians don’t have an obligation to follow it, but I don’t think it’s that unreasonable while the military is withdrawing from the area.

Well, Israel is invading multiple sovereign countries and there are a lot of people online even saying genocide is “reasonable”.

If you expect a social media accounts personal opinion about what’s unreasonable means more than recognized international law…
