Summary

A Gallup poll shows 62% of Americans believe the government should ensure universal healthcare coverage—the highest support in over a decade.

While Democratic backing remains strong at 90%, support among Republicans and Independents has also grown since 2020.

Public frustration with the for-profit healthcare system has intensified following the arrest of a suspect in the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, reportedly motivated by anger at the industry.

Recent controversies, including Anthem’s rollback of anesthesia coverage cuts, and debates over Medicare privatization highlight ongoing dissatisfaction with the system.

    Let?

Quite frankly you need to wake up and realize fellow Americans were too fucking lazy to vote Democrat for you. There’s nothing Democrats can do now.

Perhaps try blaming Republicans and their voters too.

They could filibuster, like Republicans do every time Democrats try anything. It works for them!

      They won’t.

Instead, as soon as Republicans get elected they can kill any minority they want. The only obstruction comes from other Republicans. Democrats just roll over.

And I guarantee at least a few Democrats will reach across the aisle to help, and the rest will do nothing to obstruct, because they want to punish minorities for not winning them the election. Obstruction would be uncivil! It’d violate the norms!

      And then I’ll fucking die.

And you’ll just sit around and wait a couple years to vote for them again after their complicity got me killed because you can not imagine anything else.

Or maybe you want me to die too.
