“What happened to Ciri?” The video game “trope” of: Boss kicks your ass 16 ways from Sunday, joins your team and becomes a wet rag that premature babies could flick away with no effort.

I get it, can’t really have a growth experience if you start off as OP I guess lol

So Ciri’s eyes and tolerance for Witcher potions show that she has gone through the Trial.

Given the OPness of her at the end of 3, I think we can presume something or someone has subdued her Elder Blood power and she took up Witcher power to fix things. (We can say subdued, because I think we see a small flash of Elder magic near the end of the trailer)

Hopefully CDProjekt don’t announce the wrong release date this time

Right, you’ll have to collect the wave beam and screw attack all over again.

There’s a kryptonite fog binding ritual covering Metropolis the Northern Kingdoms. Race through rings to unlock additional powers.

I hope you’ll be able to unlock her OP mode for second playthroughs, wouldn’t be compelling for the first run but I loved playing as unstoppable Ciri

I played Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey starting with a NG+ save I downloaded. Had a blast. Plenty of games are fun without shoehorning in a leveling system. In tabletop systems there’s a different context too, usually when you pick a feat or spell it’s in response to a difficulty you faced, whereas in games it’s just grabbing perks.
