I had a lit professor once who would do oral quizzes on the reading but anyone with half a brain could get literally 140% on them without doing the reading since he’d also give extra credit questions.

The first time through the quiz one day, he asked something like “Who killed Achilles? A: Paris. B: London. C: Berlin.” Then later, when repeating the question, he said “A: Paris. B: Berlin. C: London.” Process of elimination.

I’m not even kidding about the city names.

On top of that, even if he didn’t give it away in the question, you just had to wait until he read off an answer and suddenly the entire class started writing. Dead giveaway.

Is that really a meme? Looks more like some random software QA failure. Is there a community for software gore or something?

It should be 8 Hz, but according to the question text, that would mean answer “A”, while according to the labels next to the answer options, it would be “B”, because they’re inconsistent.

oh yeah that’s awful… I just noticed they wrote out the answers inside the question

    • A Hz is just an inverse second ie 1/s or s^-1. A vibration is a unitless quantity. The queation has given us 20 vibrations in 2.5 seconds or 20/2.5 * 1/s = 20/2.5 Hz =8Hz.

If that corresponds to option A or option B who knows. But i would guess whoever made the test put the answers in in the order they are written without realising the testing software shuffles the options when askibg students. Hence the button with 8Hz or B is the correct answer.

Frequency is measured in hertz (Hz), with 1 Hz meaning one cycle per second. A frequency of 8 Hz will complete 20 cycles in 2.5 sec.

Hertz is the repetition per second, to get it you simply divide the amount with the time.

This gives you 20 “swings” divided by 2.5 seconds, getting to 8hz, B.

The correct answer is probably photosynthesis but it’s not even on there. I think that’s the joke.
