You used to wonder if you were actually talking to a real person; now you can be sure you’re not!

They want to control the conversation. When the real voices start to vanish, people will just listen to the AI talk to each other.

Unrest in San Diego when ICE rolls through? Seems most of the people there are supportive!

The dead internet theory is slowly coming true.

Maybe at some point we’ll just stop using social media because it will become too unrelatable and the bots will just circle jerk each other. Probably not though. Too many dumb people liking dumb content.

This sounds a lot like selling out the elderly and trying to trick lonely people into thinking they have friends.

They’re making sure that you can spend all your time on their platform. See fresh “content” all the time, have “people” to chat.

For me, this sounds like some dystopian shit. Spend time on facebook/insta, make friends, maybe, flirt and fall in love … with a person that doesn’t even exist.

        Yeah it just feels exploitative.

Tools like an AI assistent for chat with influences in their tone of voice even sounds exploitative (that’s what people on OnlyFans apparently use to talk to fans though).

It just doesn’t feel like what Facebook should be doing. It feels insincere and cynical and opportunistic.

Our research shows users are interacting with bots and AI content that are making people in the “global South” a lot of money, we want to stop paying that and keep the money for ourselves so are creating our own OFFICIAL bots to spam AI content and steal that engagement. Sounds like Spotify.

And sell more ads to the scammers who’re getting all their cash from senile boomers.

Hard to say if we deserve all this or not.
