AMA is a community that I made because I made an AMA post on the lemmyshitpost community and had a great time answering people’s questions. I thought it would be fun to have a community dedicated to doing just that, for anyone and everyone to do an AMA and the community to learn a bit about them if they’d like.
P.S: I need moderators and more people that know more about Lemmy moderation than I do, so send me a message on here or on Matrix if that’s you @bpt11:matrix.org I’m brand new to this and don’t really know what I’m doing tbh, but I wanted to see this community happen :)
Without strong and trusted mods, this will be interesting…
I’m getting there, I just don’t know anyone else on here
Some sort of rule about verification may help your cause, and I hope it runs well for you
I’m the Queen of England, AMA.
Shots fired lol
So it’s for everyone even people like me who aren’t celebrities? I’m thinking the most interesting thing about me is probably that I have three passports and live in my fourth country, restarting everything every time I move. Would that be something for a AMA?
Considering what’s going on in the world, I for one would certainly love to hear from someone who’s done the emigration thing more than once.
Very relevant to my interests going into 2025, that’s for damn sure.
If you’re American, [email protected] has a thread about this
I’d be surprised if any celebrity was on Lemmy lol. It seems like it would be for everyone! That sounds pretty interesting to me!

Paging @[email protected] ;)
Come on now, you guys are the real celebrities!
You just earned yourself a new fan by being on Lemmy and active haha
You know of any other celebs on Lemmy or mastodon?
On the internet, nobody knows you are Australian.
To be clear, I’m ~90% convinced that it’s not her, but there’s still ~10% of me that wonders if it could be… :)
For 50k AMU, we are doing well!
That’s what AMA used to be, before it was all famous people.
Yeah it’s for literally everybody. I think that sounds like a great topic for an ama
Thank you - good luck with the community.
If you don’t want to mod, there is an active ama community: [email protected] From the modlog it seems @[email protected] is active there.
This other one seems dead: [email protected]
The Lemmy.ca community is reasonably active
@[email protected] , any reason not to use this one?
