Easily one of my most controversial picks to post here lol. Lamb of God is one of those new wave American death/groove/metalcore bands that felt pretty popular in the mid 00’s (coincidentally when I was growing up and found extreme metal music). Their music is VERY post-thrash and Groove-laden, but after all, what is groove metal but slowed down thrash?
This song will not be for everyone, the voice was still in the middle of being found, and the production absolutely favors the fuck out of the bass from every single instrument.
While not everything about this band is great, the drumming is an absolute pleasure to experience, especially on repeat listens. Chris Adler is phenomenal.
