Just watched the replay of the NLD.
- Lewis-Skelly was so ready for this. The lad did great. We have a top quality leftback in the making. (Aside from that weird foul throw he did.)
- Big Gabi with yet another monster performance. That guy is so strong it’s ridiculous.
- The fans in attendance made the place a proper fortress.
- Yes we got a bit lucky with our first goal (given that it shouldn’t have been a corner). But fuck it, that’s how it works sometimes. And heaven knows we’re owed a bit of luck.
- Great finish by Leo for our second goal. But even more than that, I fucking love that he hushed all the lairy spud fans. Sweet revenge for Son’s shit on their goal.
- Holy shit was their keeper dodgy. I know he was like their 4th backup or something, but that lad was born about 40 years too late with the poor calibre of his footwork.
- Sterling… shit, we really need a better backup for Saka! I’d have much rather seen Fast Gabi on the right from the start.
- Great to see Rice back in form again.
- Another Jekyll-and-Hyde performance from Partey. Really hoping the rumours of Zubimendi’s summer arrival are true.
- Richarleson is still a massive shithead. I guess he has to have some sort of talent because he was shite in this match.
- And lastly… North London is still red!!
There’s a rumour about us interested in Bryan Mbeumo. I don’t know much about him.
The Gyokeres rumour keeps appearing though. It feels like the profile of player we may need, but what do I know? :)
Mbeumo is interesting because he’s the kind of player (like Zaha, for example) that always finds joy against us. That makes me think that he does have something that we need. The real question is how far over the barrel we’re going to get bent?
I think he’s overperforming this season, like the guy but wouldn’t rely on him
Truth be told… if he overperforms for us and it gets us over the line then regresses to the mean, I could not care less. We might even be able to flog him to someone else if we think he’s a mercenary.

Not as bad, but I put a new screen protector on not long ago and not too long after, I went to pick it up and somehow flung it off the table. The edge of the screen hit the edge of the table, so not only are there long cracks spreading up and down, the edge that broke almost perfectly lines up with where I swipe. It was sharp for a while xD
