Makes sense to me after the changes bluepoint made to demons souls ruining some of the visual storytelling, though a direct port plus 60 fps would be fine
Off the top of my head the workers in the mine had their scales removed which implied they were turning in to Crystal lizards, flame Lurkers controversy which was changed between the trailer and release, the fat boss with a bird in his head was changed but I can’t remember what, maneaters and prison bell ringers were pretty significantly overhauled.
They are details which seem small and don’t affect gameplay but affect the lore which Miyazaki clearly cares a lot about
