Nah I understand why he was supported in 2016 (he basically was new to presidency) but it’s baffling that people still support him after leaving office in such a childish way for someone who literally is a grandpa

The guy was a known sketchy dude since the 80s. No excuses are valid to me today. If you do so little research in your presidential candidates that you “didn’t know”, why are you even voting for a president?

i cant agree with this. the only ones who wanted trump in office either would gain financially or were flat out brainwashed into ignoring this pedophilic rapist shitheads actual, documented behavior.

theres really no excuse but ignorance, malice or greed. pick one. this pathetic waste of human flesh was well known as slime by anyone who cared to know well before he was elected.

Again, I don’t like to see it all black and white. Like, your president has been caught several times either falling or not even knowing where he is, also many incoherent speeches and this shady thing with staying behind women. Trump is definitely no better with the things you mentioned.

In conclusion, both of the candidates of the mainstream parties are pretty much not the best out there, and you will have to vote them next year despite quite a lot of people preferring fitter candidates

Don’t see it as black and white?

            One has:

            -sexually assaulted women

            -berated his own family

-made disparaging comments about disabled people and just about every minority you can think of

-touted false cures for COVID-19 among his followers

-Used a sharpie to try and change the report on a hurricane landfall path (lol)

-scaled back the SNAP food benefits programs, removing more than 700,000 Americans from receiving food aid

-paid his lawyers with campaign funds

            -cheated on his wives

-rolled back standards for oil and gas companies allowing them to release more methane into the atmosphere

-pardoned blackwater agents accused of war crimes in Iraq

-abandoned Kurdish allies in syria by abruptly pulling out troops.

-held on to classified documents in his bathroom after his presidency

-has recently been indicated on multiple counts of fraud

            The other has:

-akwardly/creepily stood behind women and children

-called a kid ‘fat’ once I think

-choose a hypocrite for a VP (this applies to both, really)

-rambled incoherently during speeches (again, applies to both)

My lists are biased (cause I’m a human and that’s how we do), and it may not be black and white, but even a blind person could tell the difference between those shades of grey.

I love how you say “your president”. Isn’t the president of the U.S. everyone’s president (in the U.S.)?

The whole “us vs. them” ideology is such an easy way to manipulate people and into causing both division from others who get classified as “them” and a need to support those classified as “us” no matter what the actual facts are.

You’re saying you no longer support Trump, that’s great… I applaud you. Also, I ask you to take a close look at how you perceive Democrats and Republicans… is there an emotional response to either? Is one more negative than the other? Is there a sense of community with one?

All of us who live in the states need to take a deep look at whether or not we have been emotionally manipulated to feel against our neighbors. We are all here for each other, not against!
