    Google Translate on my cellphone works okay, but you have to hold it steady, wait for it to focus, then wait for an okay-but-not-great translation. Oftentimes it’s kind of flaky and you have to refocus. I find that it works for helping me read certain panels, but it’s too burdensome trying to get through a whole book that way. But, no doubt it will help as my French improves…

    Or, if you have a digital copy of the book, you can feed whole pages to the web-based Google Translate, and the results are much quicker, if a little wacky at times.

    One would think the app would improve over time, but who knows. So far I don’t think the superior DeepL can handle images, yet.
