According to a memo obtained by NBC News, the Defense Intelligence Agency ordered a pause of all activities and events related to 11 “special observances” in compliance with President Donald Trump’s ban on DEI (diversity, equity and inclusion) programs in the federal workplace.
In addition to Black History Month, the agency also ordered the suspension of events marking Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month, National American Indian Heritage Month, LGBTQ Pride Month, Women’s History Month, Juneteenth, Martin Luther King Jr. Day and Holocaust Remembrance Day.

This is all a source of mockery, except for the families and loved ones of the 67 people blown out of the sky last week, they’re a little pissed off at the moment. I’d guess the family and loved ones of the more than a million who died bad, chocking on their own fluids, many unable to see or touch their own loved ones as they passed, due to Trump’s bungled and purposefully inept global pandemic response the last time he was president.
And the true fuckery hasn’t even begun in earnest yet. This DEI stuff is bait, it’s frustrating and upsetting, but it’s not going to cost lives in the short term, his Cabinet picks absolutely will (and already have), Trump is doing this so Liberals spend their energy fighting the fight he wants them to.
