"On Tuesday, at a stunning joint press conference alongside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Trump announced the US will be taking over and running Gaza, potentially for the foreseeable future.

“Everybody I’ve spoken to loves the idea of the United States owning that piece of land, developing and creating thousands of jobs with something that will be magnificent,” Trump told reporters after a three-hour meeting with Netanyahu. "

This news has me worried that Gaza will be the new camp for “undesirables” that we’re struggling to deport. I sure hope I am wrong.

They still blame it on Biden and Harris.
One argument I see a lot is that it’s somehow Kamala’s fault by not trying hard enough to win their votes.

They will tell you that this result was inevitable and to look at the positive side of things (what ever this may be). Which is easy to do or say since they are not Palestinians

Which means their protest votes were meaningless. So it’s a weird excuse that they’re making.

No, their protest votes were not meaningless

They actively put trump in the whitehouse.

The American electoral system gives a voter the choice of potentially improving things (Dem) or actively making things worse (Rep). Given FPTP and the heavy use of propaganda, all other options (spoiling, abstaining, third party voting) equate to a republican vote, there is no other reality.

If an American did not vote Democrat in the election that just passed, they voted for complete ethnic cleansing of Gaza and the gutting of human rights in the USA—they didn’t even try to hide what they were going to do this time. There is zero excuse.

Sorry, to clarify, I mean they were meaningless in terms of doing anything about stopping any genocide.

And now we can add more genocide in the U.S. to what is going on in Palestine.

Harris got more votes than Biden did in the majority of the key swing states. Stop directing your anger at people other than those who actually voted for him.

To be clear, Trump is now openly promoting genocide. I considered this administration fascist up until now. Now, they full ass Nazis. Any American not going to the protests tomorrow and participating in a full on general strike is complicit with Nazis.

I agree with your first two sentences, but not with your last one. You have to take into consideration that many people are in different situations. If you have trouble making ends meet, if you need your job to feed your family, you might not be inclined to risk your job to protest. What I’m trying to say is, not all people that don’t protest are Nazis. Stating they are creates another layer of polarization that isn’t bringing us anywhere near a solution. And yes: Us. even though I’m not a US citizen, it unfortunately affects the world.

I’m certain this was exactly Kamala’s plan. She never said the magic combination of words that means she believes exactly what I want her to believe, so obviously this would have happened either way.

She said she would do nothing different. The genocide was obvious for months prior. Why would you continue defending this at this point? It’s been gross for over a year. Dems lost for many reasons, and on this issue it is fucking inexcusable.

Harris’s plan: Gazans continue to suffer with constant bombardments and crumbling infrastructure. The US offers minor humanitarian aid and pays lip service to their plight.

Trump’s plan: Extermination of all Gazans in a massive US-backed and Israeli-executed ethnic cleansing campaign in order to turn Gaza into a vacation spot for rich Israelis. Possible location for the next Trump hotel and casino.

She said she would do nothing different from Biden.

This is different from Biden. Very different.

Believe it or not, things can get worse even if they were bad before and pretending this was Harris’ plan as well is just silly.

It’s when your views align with “acceptable levels of genocide,” I think you’ve lost the plot and are not a voice someone should be listening to.

I want to see the convoluted logic the mental gymnasts who pushed forth against voting for Biden so Trump wouldn’t get elected on issues like Palestine come up with. It’s an art.

      It’s an art.

It’s a standard and often-used propaganda tactic, popular with the Russians, among others.
