Given their rampant disregard for the law as-is, what’s stopping Trump from kicking Musk out and just taking his money/assets? Is that somehow too flagrant?
If he starts touching rich people’s assets he’s gonna piss off every powerful person in the country, ideology be damned.
I imagine he would have no mechanism for doing that as Musk’s wealth is mostly tied up in investments and shit, and what isn’t, is probably in off shore accounts.

He could throw Musk in Gitmo to stop him fighting back, then nationalise any US assets, and threaten other countries to hand over ownership of any international assets. I’m sure he’d find a way to transfer the bulk of the wealth to himself.
