Youtube has become a minefield, I am now blocking a few of these shitty channels a day, it’s not sustainable. Of course, Google refuses to notice I block all AI-generated music and take my consistent behavior into account when recommending, just as their sharing framework on Android refuses to notice I only ever share stuff via Signal or Summit. Sorry for being somewhat offtopic here, I guess in the future I’ll only listen to Blue Note classics.
It’s really draining to have to verify everything and my new yardstick is whether I can find any live performance from a band. If there’s none, I’m sorry, I won’t even listen to your song. There’s too much real music to bother with generations sounding like an averaged genre entry.
Thats one of the reasons I was never able to use Youtube music. Every time I would listen to a few songs and then Youtube would sneaky a song of Goofy singing wake me up into my playlist. They couldnt tell what was real music and what were junk videos and would recomend me more junk than music. Like I get my music taste is bad andI did enjoy the goofy - wake me up song but it happens far to often.
