I’m just starting out on the expedition and trying to visit all the starting planet’s moons. This is being made more difficult by the number of bases in this system. I can’t point my ship at one and see if it’s temperate or if it’s radioactive, or if it’s frozen or so on. This is because I’m only given information about one base on each planet.

Is there a way to turn this off?

    Going offline can hide bases. The way you see others bases is by them uploading bases to the NMS server

    Also unless they changed it by reporting based it just hides the base

      Well, please don’t report bases due to a software bug.

        Oh sorry I never finished my comment cus I got sidetracked

        But like I said unless they change it reporting ONLY hide, last I checked (which was a couple years ago) I saw a Reddit post where someone found no outgoing network requests when reporting the base

        I saw this a couple years ago so idk if it’s still actuate, either way probably don’t report bases unless it’s blocking and objective
