So you did not watch the movies?
I watched alien and aliens, nothing about it seeing humans as anything more than a target.
In Aliens 3, the xenomorph can tell Ripley’s been impregnated and backs off.
ETA: fuckin’ spoiler alert, i guess?
In Alien 4 or whatever the hybridized xenomorph sees Ripley as its momma.
