So does much of Europe. As oligarchs hoard wealth and the mob are increasingly hungry, poor and angry, the right wing will leverage dissatisfaction and come to power on the wings of lies.
It was ever thus, right back through recorded history. This is how Rome fell. This is how America will fall. Europe will hold another decade, I think. By then we may well be fighting.
That very optimistic, considering what Musk is doing g with AfD, and how they are distressingly gaining power.
