These ones were just counting mistakes. They counted billion instead of million and counted a contract three times. The “oops, we need them after all” still needs to happen.
They have now also added a contact that Biden cancelled 6 months ago.
These are some grade-A dolts running things over at the Department. It’s worth reading each instance where they lied, miscounted, misinterpreted, or all of the above. One of my faves:

Honestly though, why does adding a single option to a form cost half a million dollars?
Potentially a bunch of follow up logic processes need to be modified as well. Gender is probably not one of the things that would have been dynamically processed in the past.

Chainsaw austerity. Normal austerity can cost a country a decade or two of growth and they at least tried to not accidently cut anything too crucial.
