Since I canceled Claude (US boycott) I’m really enjoying https://chat.mistral.ai It might be a few months behind quality wise, but it is really fast, which is great for quick searches and brainstorming. It even has a canvas feature now.

This really gives me hope! Great french AI Tool!

Hell yeah, I was using gpt regularly, and having a french alternative was really uplifting news. First tryouts were pretty much showing that it’s capable of everything I need.

Same, i don’t really use ai for any super complicated stuff, so I don’t care about it not being the smartest, but it’s so damn fast compared to other ais I used, it’s very noticeable

Just tried it out for one of my frequent use cases: questions on configuring JIRA. Results are pretty darn good so far.

It’s interesting to give it different scenarios then seeing what picture it generates. Like a lizard typing on a keyboard.

Using the free version too until I run out of prompts for the day, works great. Actually I find AI kind of makes you lazy anyway.

Just wish there was a cheaper “premium” option so I could support them without paying so much

The only thing I miss is that it doesn’t remember conversations like ChatGPT. Otherwise Mistral is really good and fast.
