    If they want our natural resources, then they need to remove the tariffs from our other exports. We should add an export tariff to oil and gas until the other tariffs are dropped.

      I agree we need to add a surcharge to our energy output to the US but expect Smith and Saskatchewan’s DUI hire to get all mad.

        Fully agreed. And probably more effective and feasible than actually turning off the tap. Reinvest the proceeds into green energy.

    I mean, that’s like 20/25% of Canada’s total exports to Mordor. I assume we’ll see the same climb down on most other natural resources, with the exception of lumber, for a total of about 40/50% of all exports.

    All against the backdrop of the endless whining, "we don’t need Canada for anything.’
