I always hated this cheap plastic one we had, if you shifted it would slide around and the little feet would slide off the rim. So I went to Lowe’s and bought a wood one, then installed it. It’s much better.

I’ve been meaning to get the one that glides closed instead of slams/has to be guided down. I had one at my old place and was too lazy to uninstall it come moving time. I regret that every day.
Those are like $20. Just get a new one 😅
