I originally joined the place because I could not find anywhere else to discuss the game. First impression was it being a place full of nice people who liked the game!

Now I see several conversations several different days of people speaking cruelly and condescendingly to each other over varying opinions on Infinity Nikki being a gacha game. Happens daily. I understand having strong opinions on it, on wanting to enjoy a fun high quality girly game for once, on concern over predatory gacha mechanics, but people go from that to namecalling and just plain mean behavior. Of course, not everyone in the Discord gets vitriolic, but it is frustrating seeing this argument rehashed daily.

If this meme is also too bitchy feel free to nuke it, no resentment will be had here if you do it. In the end I’m posting about a place that won’t see it (because I’m not actually allowed to advertise other communities. I got a post removed and warned for—no advertising intended—linking a Lemmy post that answered someone’s question in the server), and that’s not always the kindest move. I understand wanting to keep this a positive place and if this does not fit the bill…
