    In the pro version of Win 11 when it asks you to sign in, it’s still possible to select:

    1. Set up for work or school
    2. Next
    3. Sign-in options (very small link)
    4. Domain join instead

    Then it lets you to add a local account. Knowing MS, they probably will prevent this too soon.

        But will Microsoft listen to foreign governments?

        It’s not clear if the US will have government agencies for much longer.

    Let’s just make and share one Microsoft account. So they’d have exactly one user with 4M desktop installs

        Frustratingly, that would also mean dropping at least one of my favorite games rn.

        I’m very much considering dual booting defaulting to Linux whenever Win10 support is properly dropped.

    My new work laptop i couldn’t work out how to set it up without signing into Windows.

    It just had sign in or create account.
