The start of the actual effects.

Everyone looking at stock markets and 401(k)s as the effects, but the actual ground level affects they were always going to take at least three to six months to really feel.

Yea, we have a decent amount of inventory for stores for now…but once that runs out and if this all keeps up it’s gonna get dicey I’m guessing. I’ve stopped a lot of my discretionary spending, but I kind of want to get a bidet attachment for my toilet ha. Never got one during the Covid go round but I vaguely recall that we (U.S.) import a lot of Canadian lumber for tp production.

It takes 5 mins to install and a few weeks to get comfortable using it. Then you wonder how you ever lived without it.

Which one did you get? I’m curious about a warm water one. Although I feel like it takes my tap a while to get warm so would it even work? I guess a cold spray could really just wake me up in the mornings 😂

Probably a few weeks from now, maybe 2-3 months if we’re lucky.
Electronics will dry up first, and quickly when it happens.
That’ll drive people to panic buy everything else like housewares and groceries draining those too.
Toilet paper will be hard to find again, it’ll be like Covid but worse this time.
