We keep one of our cat carriers out because one of our cats likes to curl up in it.

We had to take another cat to the vet a few weeks ago, so I went to grab it… Nope, occupied, with the wrong cat. Rather than deal with that, I just got a different carrier.

Same. My cat spends 80% of time in a carrier which I put on a shelf. I guess that is his private, safe space.

My girl likes to sleep in her carrier, and I want her to sleep on my bed, so I simply have a carrier on my bed 24/7

Honestly it’s so much better than having your cat be afraid of the carrier, more people should leave theirs out in the open for the cats to interact with regularly

I got them used to it by integrating cat carriers in my homemade cat trees. They mainly like to sleep in there when they aren’t home though.
