    It is still an early tech and a fairly inefficient process, but it’s improving rapidly and should produce less C02 as it is refined.

      This, and also I don’t think CO2 is as much of a concern as methane.

    Is this something that maturation of the technology would fix? Currently it is very much handcrafted as a proof of concept in the lab. Article mentions that currently cultures are purified same as pharmaceuticals. Would food grade be less resource intensive?

    What about the role of methane? Since it’s more potent of a greenhouse gas than CO2, would reducing the amount in the atmosphere— not cancel out, per se— but at least help?
