It’s wild that something was made from this IP in current year.

That is wild. Someone was talking about being scared of clowns as a kid and it reminded me of this movie. I probably only caught 30 min of it on cable but it was so wtf (to a young me) that it was enough to never forget it. Never thought I’d see it come back!

Absolutely. I first saw the movie a few years ago at a local horror festival and loved it. It has held up really well, in a very cheesy way. Still, a sequel would’ve surprised me… and a video game? I never would’ve guessed that.

Is it just my devices? I can rarely get these piped links to work. I watch a lot of music via YT and when I made the switch to lemmy, I found out about piped. I was fuckin thrilled. But almost every link I click on wont load the damn video. And when I try to stream some music, I get so many buffering pauses that it’s maddening. Anyone else? Or any recommendations?

I don’t have any recommendations, but I’ve run into this too.

Nah, but I honestly just disabled the YouTube app and set NewPipe to open YouTube links and that works for me. You’ll need the latest version of NewPipe though, which may not be on F-Droid yet.

Same issue here using Thunder. If I force it to open in external browser like Firefox, same thing. Play button does nothing. No add-ons installed, on Android.
